The Benaki Museum, Greece’s oldest and largest private museum, transports visitors through the country’s history and culture. It is one of Greece’s most important cultural institutions and a must-see attraction when visiting Athens.
In 2011, the Benaki Museum opened a new wing, the Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika Gallery. On this occasion daphnedesign® was commissioned to develop a new product for the museum shop.
"Since I was born in Athens and I feel a special connection to this city, it fills me with great joy to be represented in the new Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika Gallery with a product design", the designer, based in Munich and Athens, stated.
